I'm so glad that you liked it. I used to cook the fish till it's half done. Pan frying the fish is mainly for two reasons. 1. Make sure that the masala sticks with the fish 2. Pan frying the fish and using the pot for making biryani brings out a lot of flavor. I fried it till it was 3/4 cooked and it finished cooking with the steam when placed with the rice. Did you fully cook it or just brown it? Easy tasty recipe, will make it again.
