Ingredients
Ridge gourd / Peerkangai - 1/2 cup chopped
Moong Dal - 2 tbsp
Green chili - 1 no
Asafoetida powder - a pinch
Coconut - 1 1/2 tbsp (optional)
Coriander leaves - few
Salt to taste
To Temper
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard & urad dal - 1/4 tsp
Pearl onions - 2 nos(finely chopped)
Curry leaves - few
Procedure

Once the ridge gourd is cooked, add the salt & coconut, mix it well.
