Two month before, for dinner i had prepared this mushroom pasta with tomato sauce and it was so good.Mushroom and pasta goes really well.To be honest, i won't claim this as any authentic recipe, just use whatever ingredients available in my pantry and the end result turns out very delicious,so thought of sharing this recipe here.My DH is also big fan of this dish,so now once in every weak, i prepare this dish for our dinner or even some time as lunch too.

Ingredients
Pasta - 11/2 cup
Mushroom - 3/4 cup(thinly sliced)
Onion - 1/2
Tomato -2
Capsicum - 1/2
Garlic - 3 pods
Italian Seasoning - 1tsp
Paprika - 1/2 tsp
Olive oil - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese - 1/4 cup(shredded)
Pasta - 11/2 cup
Mushroom - 3/4 cup(thinly sliced)
Onion - 1/2
Tomato -2
Capsicum - 1/2
Garlic - 3 pods
Italian Seasoning - 1tsp
Paprika - 1/2 tsp
Olive oil - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese - 1/4 cup(shredded)
First heat the water in large saucepan and cook the pasta as per instructions in the pack.
Cut the tomatoes roughly and grind into smooth paste.Then slice the mushroom,onion & capsicum in to thin slices and mince the garlic.
Heat the kadai with olive oil, add the garlic, saute it for 30 secs, then add sliced onions and saute till it translucent.
In the mean time, drain the pasta and drizzle some oil over pasta , keep it aside until use.Add the mushroom & capsicum one by one and saute till mushroom reduces its size.
Now add the grinded tomato paste,italian seasoning & paprika one by one.
Season with salt and then add tomato ketchup, mix well and cook till the raw smell of tomato goes off.
Now add the pasta into tomato masala,give a good mix.
Finally add the cheese and cover it lid till the cheese melts, open the lid,give a good mix and switch off the flame.
Serve hot for better taste.
Notes:







- Add salt carefully,since tomato ketchup and cheese already have salt.
- As per your preference, increase or decrease the amount of mushroom.
- For extra spicy, add a tsp of chili paste or pepper powder
- Tastes best when served hot or warm.
- You can use any type of pasta as per your like.
