Uppu Kozhukattai | Savory Kozhukattai | Vinayar Chathurthi Special

As Vinayar Chathurthi is nearing, i thought of posting this uppu kozhukkati recipe that i have prepared a few days back. Usually i make this kozhukkati as evening snack for tea, but you can offer this as prasadam along with any modagam khozhukattai for coming vinayar chathurthi.I personally like to roll the kozhukattai as thin log, but you can roll into small balls too.

  • Instead of microwave, you can boil the water in the stove top too.
  • Depends of rice flour, you may need more or less water, so be careful in adding water.
  • Sesame oil gives great flavor, so highly recommend it.
  • I use store brought rice flour.
