As spring is in full swing here now, the fresh produce aisles are filled with different varieties of berries. So I have been snacking on the berries a lot nowadays and also making these kinds of smoothies often as breakfast  when I'm planning for an earlier/heavy lunch meal.

Though I have used fresh berries for this smoothie, it can also be made with frozen berries, tried a couple of times and it tastes equally good. In addition to the fruits, I have used some soaked chia seeds for extra nutrition and also it gives thickness to the smoothie.

Ok, let's check out on how to make this delicious smoothie.

Chia seed looks almost similar to basil seeds/tukmaria/sabja seeds which is quite popular in India and extensively used in North Indian drinks like falooda. Chia seed takes time to bloom, so if you have soaked them and keep it in refrigerator(it stays well for 5 days), then this pudding can be made in mins. It's magical!! At the same time, even watching sunny weather in movies or in tv shows makes me longing for those sunny days, Ironic,it is !!!  Grew up in hot, sunny weather make me fascinate about the snow always, will i ever stop fascinating about snow ?? Don't know, wondering about the people who born and bought up in this weather for the whole life, do they feel like me? Having new sense of respect for them who hardly complain about this extreme weather and enjoy the life !!! Ok, now let's check out how i have prepared this oatmeal bowl.
