Wheat flour Dosa | Gothumai Dosa

Wheat flour dosa - A quick and ready to make dosa in 15 mins.I'm not a big fan of wheat dosa. Usually i make wheat dosa as plain. One day, my mom told, that adding the onions ,chili , curry & coriander leaves make this dosa as delicious.
I made this dosa just like she said and it was so tasty. Now it's became our regular breakfast or dinner dish.If you never  tried this way, give it a try, surely you will love it.

Gothumai Dosai

Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Onion -1 (medium size)
Green chili - 1 no
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few
Salt - to taste
Crushed pepper - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp + to make dosa

First cut onion, green chili into small pieces. Heat the oil in a kadai, add onions,green chili & curry leaves.Saute it well and allow to cool.In a bowl add the flour, salt and pepper, mix it well. Add water little by little and make paste like consistency with laddle.After that, add more water and make the batter as pouring consistency . Add the sauted onions & coriander leaves into the batter & mix it well. The batter is ready to make dosa.Heat the dosa pan, grease it with oil, pour a laddle full of batter and spread it in circular motion. Drizzle some more oil on the top. Flip the dosa and cook it on both sides.Tasty & Quick Dosa is ready to serve. 
  • Dont add all the water at once, it will form lot of lumps, add little by little and make paste like consistency, then add more to have required consistency.
  • Sometimes i add cumin seed in the batter, that too tastes good.
