Paal Ice / Milk Ice, a creamy & delicious popsicle made from the milk. It's one of the popular popsicles around the 90s in Tamilnadu and almost all the ice cream carts would sell these popsicles at that time.
To be honest, i'm not a big fan of popsicles or icecreams. When we were kids , we (me & my bro) both caught cold very easily and frequently too, so our parents strictly omitted popsicles and ice creams for us. Still today, I'm a little bit worried about getting cold while having ice creams or popsicles and also I never even crave for it so far, I think we crave for the food which we grew up eating only.
But ST likes popsicle a lot particularly this paal ice and he keep on talking about it that he had from the ice cream cart(thallu vandi) during his summer holidays. So for his sake, i had prepared this popsicles(just a few) last week and i too tasted a bit. It was really very tasty and creamy and i love the flavor of milk and cardamom in it.

Ingredients
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 3 to 4 tbsp
Cardamom(crushed) - 2
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 3 to 4 tbsp
Cardamom(crushed) - 2
Corn flour - 2 tsp
In a bowl, add the corn flour and 1 tbsp of milk and mix it well without lumps and set aside until use.

Heat the remaining milk in a large pan, let it comes to boil, keep the flame in simmer for 3 mins, then add the sugar, let the sugar melts completely.

Then add the cardamom and the corn flour mixture, mix it well, within a min, it becomes slightly thick. Switch off the flame and let it cool completely.

Let it freeze for minimum 6 to 8 hrs and to remove the popsicle ,keep the popsicle mold under the running water for 2 mins, then remove it,it will easily come out.

That's it , Tasty & creamy Paal Ice is ready.
Notes:- Don't add more corn flour than the mentioned quantity, otherwise it will becomes too thick.
- I have used 3 tbsp of sugar and it's perfect for us.
- Use full fat milk for better taste.
- If you don't have popsicle mold, then use any tall glass along with ice cream stick for freezing.
- Or even if you don't have ice cream stick, just freeze it in tall glass and demold it and serve it in a bowl with spoon.
- Depends on the size of the mold, the above quantity yields 3 to 4 popsicles.
- I freeze it overnight.
- You can skip the cardamom too.
may i use milkpowder instead of cornflour
